Oil in area behind stator cover?

i will end up replacing my stator cover sometime as i scratched up my oem one when i laid the bike down. my old gs1000 has oil in the stator area so when the cover is removed oil will run out unless it was drained beforehand. does the busa stator area work he same way?

Yes there is oil behind the stator cover, I know becuase I just replaced mine.

Yes there is oil in there
