Ok....so now i call among the Hayabusa Gods for guidance for i am lost.

I would like a new exhaust that looks allot better than the stock, but with a nice sound as well. Price does not matter to me...QUALITY DOES!

Also does anyone make a good fender elim kit? This stock one has to go before i start to vomit.

SHE TURNED 62 MILES ON HER!!!!!!!!!!!!

5500 RPM never felt so nice....heheheh...cant wait to really open her up.

First question is do you want to maintain the dual pipe look or single? Popular names around here are HMF, Hindle, D&D and Yosh systems. Depends on whether you want looks, sound or performance enhancement. For undertails there aren't a lot of choices, but the common ones are TopGun, a couple Euro models and recently a UFO undertail. Some have even made their own mods that just cut the fender. All depends on what you like and I'm sure people can show lots of pics of all.

I went with the BDE Hindle pipe with the carbon fibre can, and the topgun undertail. If you're looking for the BDE Hindle, contact WarBaby (Tom at Veltune - - he'll hook you up), and shop around for the topgun. if you put a full exhaust on, you'll also want a power commander.

Like BigBS said, it depends on whether you want to keep the dual can look or not. I went with a Brock Davidsin Street Smart Hindle full system and I am a happy man. The sound is perfect, not too loud, not too quite, just MEAN as HELL when you roll on 'er. This system also supposedly makes the most power on the busa.

As for undertails, there are many... Freestyle, Rumble Imports, Top Gun, UFO Top Gun, etc... I have a brand new, unused, unpainted Top Gun for sale if you're interested in a Top Gun. I can save you some money over gettin' the same tail from the retailers. I bought it to use on my busa but ended up gettin' a UFO tail to use instead. Just let me know if you're interested. I'll take $215 shipped to your door if you're in the continental US. I think they're $229 plus shippin' (approx. $245) if you buy them from the retailers. Of course you'd need to get it sprayed to match yer bike...

Like the others mentioned, one can or two. One can systems, the brock systems that Warbaby sells are fantastic, if you want the duals, the HMF system is pretty hot and if you want a cost efective, yet good sounding/looking setup, the Yosh systems are great.

FWIW, If you do start shopping for Yosh systems, particularly on Ebay, you can find great deals, however be careful what type of exit you order. Most of the Yosh systems on Ebay are hi-exit. Looks fantastic, loose the passenger pegs (unless someone can tell me where to get some that work

) If you go that route, the mid pipe to make it a "normal" exit cost $140 and is only available from Yosh directly.

im the same way when it comes to quality so micron is the only way whether its single or double they have no rivits the skin of the can is replaceable with a single allen screw if you fug it up for less than a hunch $100.00 the performance is in the full system 17 hp
w/ the power commander and you cant beat the sound.
also with you on the fender extraction did that 2 weeks after i bought in.

As far as quality exhaust goes, either full or bolt-ons, I'm all about Akrapovic. That's what's going on mine in a few months. Costs more then most, but in my opinion worth it. Most aftermarket exhausts are good quality, and as far as manufacturer goes, I think it ends up being a matter of personal taste and the sound each system produces. I've heard a lot of systems on Busa's (except Hindle), and I like the way Akrapovic sounds the best...the perfect note, and that's the way I want my Busa to sound.
