I was just glancing over my gauge cluster and it suddenly occured to me that I don't see an indicator for the alternator.
Would I get an error code if my alternator went?

All models have a 12-volt electical system charged by a three-phase alternator with a separate regulator/rectifier. The regulator maintains the charging system output within the specified range to prevent overcharging, and the rectifier converts the ac (alternating current) ouput of the alternator to dc (direct current) to power the lights and other components and to charge the battery. The alternator rotor is mounted on the left-hand end of the crankshaft.

But no warning light...

Busa doesn't have an alternator.

some refer to it as the stator

I know what an alternator is...

Just wondering how anyone could seriously think the Busa didn't have one... or any gasoline powered vehicle for that matter??

It doesn't ! Instead it has a generator with a rectifier to convert the a.c to d.c.
