Does anyone have any experience in taking off the slip on muffler and just running a straight pipe. Is there any advantage/disadvantage or does it even make a difference in 1/4 mile times.

I pulled the can off my Yosh yesterday and ran 2mph faster.......It's pretty loud though.....

That is not going to hurt your valves. If you ran without ANY pipes, it would, but not without a can....
