Ordered a '23 grey/red. Have questions.

I have been a member here since 2004 and have known several of you for almost 20 years. This is Busa #4 and my last Busa. I had 2 Gen 1s and a Gen 2. Is the kickstand mod still necessary? What are some recommendations for lowering the pegs? I won't be doing any mods other than slip on exhaust to reduce the weight a little and improve the sound. I found the Yoshi and rhe Akropovic ones. I know you're thinking you'll be doing more mods but I have a Harley that I have about $75k into so this one will stay pretty much stock. Has anyone used the tank ring lock and Suzuki tank bag setup? Bike should be here in 3 to 4 weeks. I'm super excited. Is there anything else I need to be on the look out for?

Here is my experience with Gen 3, first Busa for me:

Kickstand - It works perfectly in stock form, no problem to drop the bike.

Exhaust - I got the Akrapovic racing full exhaust and it is awesome. The bike feels much lighter and the sound is great, not too loud.

Quadlock wireless charging - You should get it if you are using your phone as navigation.

Of course take care of your fuel tank, I am using a leather protection.

I’ll say the kickstand mod MAY be necessary if you’re crazy protective about your bike like I am. I have a few wheel chocks for my bikes and the Baxley Sport Chock means I don’t have to use the stand. When out tho I’m sweating bullets when it’s on the stand. So maybe… maybe not.
As for your Harley. I also have a 22 Road Glide and absolutely know your pain with modding that thing! HD stands for HunnerdDollars as that seems to be the beginning cost of any thing they sell!
I love it tho and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon!

I have an '18 CVO Limited in black earth fade, 131 w/a 550 cam, full legends suspension, dakota digital dash, khrome werks outlaw 3, saddleman seat and 1440w amp w/hertz speakers. Bike puts 146/158 on the ground. The '23 Grey/Red Busa matches my Harley perfectly so I pulled the trigger. The Busa will get slip ons, lower pegs and probably little cosmetic things. Once she gets here, I'll post pics of the girls side by side.
