Hey Rich, I put the Vortex rear sets on my bike about a year ago. Very good quality, they bring your riding position back and up from the stock setup and are non ajustable.

The only draw back I have with the rear sets is that there is not a mount for your rear brake connection to the tail light. I called Vortex about this and was told that the rear sets are for racing only and did not include the bracket for connecting the spring for activating the rear brake light. I have learned to live with it, when braking I use both the front and rear brakes and the brake light comes on when using the front brakes. I looked into a product that Spiegler Brakes makes, it is a hydraulic fuse that is positioned in the brake line and will activate the rear brake light as pressure is sensed.

Another problem I have had here in Texas is with the motorcycle inspection. The law here states that the rear brake lever must be able to turn the rear brake light on. They don't care about the front brake just the rear. I have been able to get around this...

Just wanted to give you heads up.

Thanks for the info puck, I did not realize about the rear brake. I use both brakes when I brake anyways, but with that texas law, that does not make much sense since the front brake is like 80% of the stopping power.
