Out on a ride

I'm out on a trip on the 'busa. I'm in Boise now and have been here all week. Tomorrow I'm off to the PNW then Canada and back down to Denver via North Dakota.

I went over Poudre Canyon outside of Ft. Collins. I went over Buffalo Pass to Steamboat Springs. Dirt road on the way up, rocky road on the way down. Snow, the smell of pine, wildflowers, and campfires and a fun time.

From there I went up 40 to 318 then 10 up to Green River for the evening.

Monday I headed north on 372 then 189. Hoback canyon was an awesome ride as was 29 into Idaho. Idaho itself was frigging flat. I stopped at Craters of the Moon and hiked around a bit.

The rest of the week we've been in Boise visiting family. Tomorrow morning I'm off to Seattle for a BBQ.

High temp today: 107 degrees. It was so bad we watch Lavagirl and Sharkboy. It was a great movie.... for an 8 year old granddaughter. Good thing they had AC

Off the grid for the next week.

I miss it out there..... lived in boulder, got my "iron butt" in the rockies on my first streetbike, a d LTD1000. soooooooooo much ridin areas there.
