I am in need of some overpants that I can use to keep me dry, but also that will not be too hot for Florida riding. My waist is 48" and this has added to the difficulty in finding a pair that will be funtional and fit over slacks. I have been looking at First Gear HT 2, Tour Master Caliber, Alpinestars ST-5 Drystar, Teknic Sirocco Gore-tex, Joe Rocket Balistic 5.0, and Frank Thomas Strike-2 Aqua.
Are there any other bigger riders that have used any of these that can advise on the fit? I am just not sure if the waist sizes are true to size. I am looking for something that will keep my dry, not be to hot on warmer days, and has some armor. I am just leary about purchasing something online and then have them not fit properly.
I have tried digging in previos posts, but search is offline and I am in a pinch for some hands on advice on this. Thanks in advance for your input.
