Oxygen sensor disconnect????

Has anyone done this or know the effects of it, I was at powercommander site downloading the user manual when I happen to see it. Circuit Disconnect ???

Hmmmm must be just for California models since there was no wire there and yes I do have an 03.

Hi! If you disconnet the oxigen sensor you will have a problem will burn alot of gas (Drinker), the oxigen sensor controls the gas that go's thru the FI, if your bike start to burn to much gas the oxigen sensor will send a signal to the computer telling the computer. that the engine is burning to much gas and then the computer will reajust the FI with the right amount of gas that the bike realy needs, hope this helps.

Well I was just at powre commanders website downloading the software for my PC3r when I happen to see that about disconnecting the o2 sensor well when I seen it I went out to the bike and looked for the paticular wire it was saying to pull from the ECM and it was not there, so the only thing I can think is that it might be for the California models.
