I love my new bike. I have about 1200 miles on it now. We got some good riding in this past weekend. School is keeping me so busy and the weather hasn't been real cooperative to ride as much as I would like.
The GSXR is a treat. I really did love my Busa but I'm having a blast riding the K1. It feels so much lighter and makes me feel more confident. I have little or closer to NO chicken strips.
We need to have a "bike night" and get everyone together again like we did at Dave's BBQ! That was fun.

I brought my new bike home the day after Christmas so we are about on the same path.1200 miles in what time frame? I got my 08 on Halloween, and I have more than 2000 on it now.
Maybe we could go somewhere closer to Tacoma?

Doug, I didn't know you had a Charcoal/Black too! Its like wearing the same dress to the prom! I'm sure mine will be totally sexier with my TiForce exhaust though
Anyways, I'm going jet skiing in the Persian Gulf today, so I hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to actually getting some time to catch up when I get back from Qatar.

Oh, and make sure we have a bike night after I get home too... sometime in August would probably be best for me!

I forgot to include the 500 or so miles on the DR650 since I bought it last month. It's all good.

Dude thats nothing at least you guys didn't know each other had the same bike . My buddy went out and got the same bike a month after I got my 02 busa . He said he wanted a blue and silver but all they had was silver and grey . He could have waited or gone somewhere else . It was bad enough we worked together and live at the same apt complex .
