PAIR Removal

Ok, with all this bad weather here in KC (40F, rain and cold sucks after Daytona and 85F!) I decided to remove my PAIR system. So here is a link to my site showing what I did (yep I had nothing to do tonight)

Should someone want to do this, I suggest that you do the mod during the exhaust install, it will make your life much easier.

Jeff In looked high and low for you at the Daytona races, garage 21?23?

My PC hosed itself a week before the races so I could not get online.

The Kid on the RC sure ran well for an eighteen year old on a new machine (rc51).

Mike, we were behind the womens restroom (same side as Yosh, Honda, Duc), best seat in the house . Had a trailer and 2 ezy-ups. Sorry I missed you, but I must say your bike ran just fine......can't believe that I missed the shift from 2 to 3 at redline, hope I did'nt break more than one or two gears and misc parts .........

Jeff, thanks for the details / shop manual appendix! for the other areas as well!

Did you post your hp and torque dyno charts? I know you were hoping for 170 at Daytona - but haven't sen results. I did see a note that your bike is weighing in at 464lbs(? w/ 2 gal fuel).

I've read somewhere 6lbs has the eq of 1 hp. It is more when you take weight from the rotating masses. Whew!!

The ratio for rotating mass is 1hp per 3 pounds. Light is right.
