pair valve block off....

now i think about it, ive never seen a post of someone asking if they can do the pair valve block off.. but on stock exhaust. is that even possible?

Yes, i had it done when my bike went down for 2nd gear. It almost felt like it had a little more umph without it.

If you want to try-before-you-buy so to speak, do the marble mod first.

yup do the marble... Take it off if ya put on a full system. Less work, more fun.

I did the Pair mod with my stock exhaust, did not notice any gains. I did it to make future exhaust replacment easier and to get rid of all that crap hanging off the engine.

smooth it out if you have aftermarket cans. I've got D&D on mine and as soon as I marbled it, the whole thing smoothed right out.

I never had any backfiring, did the mod for the smoothness
