Pair valve plug ?

Just wondering if anyone has just blocked the hose from the airbox on a gen 3 ? If so would you still need the "chip" to fool the ecm, or would it work aOK and no lights due to all the stuff still being there? I was thinking of just turning up a plug for the hose in the lathe...done deal ??

Have you considered just leaving it as it is and just enjoying the ride ? ?
JK lol.
Seriously tho..Any particular reason you want to disable the PAIR valve?

Full exhaust system, not bad noise but rather not inject air into the system

Yeah, I did that until I tuned it out in Woolich software. No lights as long as it's plugged in electronically.
Probably just leave it plugged in and chuck a plug in there till I have the airbox off again, then do the plates. Anyone know exactly when the ecu actually turns it on and off ?

I have the pair block off plates and connector but haven't installed them as I kind of like the decel popping at times....it makes me feel young and reminds me how my race bike sounded.....

I know with the gen 1 taking off the pair system saves some weight but there's not much to the gen 2 pair system...and I imagine the gen 3 is very similar if not exact.

Yeah I may never get around to it, I doubt the minimal air added would do any harm anyway
