pair valve question

After rear baffles removed bike sounds great. Would pair valve removal be recomeded without pc. If you plan on telling me to use search engine ,I did its only so usefull and my wifes sick of me reading 2yr old listings for hours to get a answer to current question.

Put a marble in the pair hose in the breather this disables the pair while it is still on the bike. If it helps remove the valve, some say it doesnt weigh enough to worry about, I think it all adds up in the end and dont like the idea of owning a performace bike that has crap like the pair in the first place.


You will know that your pair should be removed if you are experiencing any backfiring after freeing up the exhaust.

I bought this machine because I wanted something i wouldnt want to go any faster, In that aspect Im more than pleased. After making the bike sound like a bike By cutting out the rear baffle it sounds good. I left the front baffle that doesnt do much but nevertheless it sounds great, No backfire issue. just wanted to know if I should bother as I have no drivability problems. Thanks for your time.

If you still have the stock midpipe, you probably don't need to remove the PAIR valve.

If you get some backfires, then remove it.

If you get a PC and you're looking for more power, then remove it. You'll save a couple ounces too

Yeah More Power Baby! I said the same thing you did when I first bought my 'Busa, lasted about 6 months before I went to a full exhaust, air box mod, BMC filter, PCIII USB, Giles chain adjuster, Puig Double Bubble, RoadLok and Tobin seat. Somehow I don't think I am done yet!

WHAT UP GUYZ I JUST JOINED THE BUSA CLUB AND HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS? I HAVE 06 BUSA LIMITED JUST CHANGED THE EXHAUST WITH A FULL YOSHI TRI-OVAL RACE SYSTEM AND PCIII,NUMBER 1 IS DO YOU KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO CAN MAP IT CORRECTLY BECAUSE IT POPS OUT THE BACK SOMETIMES OR SHUTS DOWN. AND NUMBER TWO IS DO I NEED TO HAVE THE PC ON THERE SINCE I CHANGED THE EXHAUST?
