Random question here but has anyone actually had a bunch of bolts etc machined? Because I know firsthand when I put my bike back together I lost so many of the lil things or put them in the wrong spot that I literally had to go to the hardware store or stealership =/ If nobody has ever done that I might just go machine a few hundred or so

I guess I have. I found someone parting out a couple of bikes and bought all of their old hardware. That way I'd have spares. If you have the resources, you might look at building some nice replacement bolts for the Frankenstein bolts to eliminate the tie downs. I haven't seen a nice set yet. Need to be stainless and Allen head.

Ace Hardware stainless steel 8mmX20mm alien heads, $.50 a piece. fits great and look awesome polished.
They also have black as well.

I live 3 blocks away from ace hardware, and they supplied my replacement parts that I lost

I'm probably going to see what I can do here, I have a week to do nothing so might as well play with the busa. Stupid winter sucks or I'd do riding
