Passing light - Makes dash lights recycle

Trying to keep up with you guys on modifications on the hayabusa has led to a strange thing occurring. On September 26th, I had a (Stebel Nautilus Compact Motorcycle Air Horn) and Hid kit (Wattage : 35W Bulb Type : H7 Bulb Color : 5000K & Wattage : 35W Bulb Type : H9 Bulb Color : 5000K, by DDM Tuning) installed by a local motorcycle shop. When I drive down the road or while the bike is just sitting and it does not happen everytime, if I hit the passing light switch on the bike (I could hit it maybe like 10 times or so) it can make the internal dash lights cycle. When I mean cycle, it looks as if I am turning the key on the bike for the first time, type of cycle. All the other lights are fine and it does not make the engine cut out or anything. What could be the problem? Anyone heard of this? I did take it back to the local motorcycle shop and they could not find anything thing wrong at all. I even have a different battery installed thinking maybe that is the problem and it did not solve issue. I cannot be sure if the this did not happen before the install of these items when the bike was stock. Anyone have any ideas? Please chime in. Again...it is not everytime I hit the passing switch.....you might be able to hit the passing switch like 20 times and during one of the presses it might do this. When this dash light recycles, the clock even resets. Please help!!!

P.S. 2009 Hayabusa

There are cases when the HID igniting can interfere with the instrament cluster. HIDs do not like being cycled rapidly, like blinking the pass to flash.

HID's are not good passing lamps. It may be that the re-cycle of the lamp starter is glitching the dash lamps. Best idea is to not use the passing lamp function, or, replace the HID high beam with a PIAA standard bulb.

if you want your flash to pass back, i can set you up with a bixenon retro.

No, I normally don't use the passing button....it was just something that I had noticed. If it is a situation that this is just part of the territory of the Hids....than I can live with it. I guess I was more concerned that there was a bigger issue here. What is a bixenon retro?
