i just got a 2-1/2 pound bottle and nos system, and it said to wire it to the horn. i wanted to hook my air shifter to that, does anyone know if i can hook the nos to my passing trigger? that would make it alot easier than useing the starter button. alslo is there anything else i need for the system? i already have a pclll power commander, full yosh rs3, would i need anything else?? all the help would be great, i want to get it on while its getting painted.

I think you could use the flash to pass to activate the NOS. If your not using an air shifter it might get a bit confusing when you try to shift, your left and might get pretty busy. I just put a MPS dry shot on my bike and it had everything you need, it comes with the switch to use horn/shift start/NOS . I mounted the solenoid in the hump and need a braided steel line to go from the bottle to the solenoid. If you put it right on the bottle the kit is complete.

I plan on doing the same thing . PM Goldenchild he can tell you how to do it.

Put the nos in the starter button with the two way switch on it and the airshifter on the horn...There are a few safety reasons and if you sit there for a minute and think about it all kinds of crazy mishaps that could happen will come to mind..... Don't ask me how i know....I'll leave it at that i do a few insurance jobs a month...

where did you mount the switch. i have the mps system too and ive never seen anyone elses set up so i dont know where to put the switch for it to be unsee yet still easy to get to.

here is how i arm mine

easy to get to on the fly

not meaning to threadjack but brutal can you post some pics of how your bottle and solenoid are mounted? I have my bottle in my swingarm with the mps solenoid mounted directly to it but im a little nervous of the thing getting damaged being that out in the open.

I used the subframe supports in the hump to mount the solenoid. I don't have any pics of it. I took a lot of flack from the board on my bottle location, I made a bracket that mounts to the license plate frame and the bottle hangs off to the right of the plate. I think it's far enuff from the exhaust that heat won't be an issue. If it does get too warm i'll move it. As far as the solenoid goes i mounted it to the frame that has the hump locking mechanics on it.

To use the "pass" button you must locate the wire. The wire from the switch is located about 1 to 1 1/2 out of the switch assembly and is spliced into the high beam circuit. I wish I could remember the color. Yellow/red spliced into yellow?

Anyways, it's the only splice in that area. It puts 12v into the high beam circuit. Cut it loose of the splice and check it. You should have 12v when you press the button. Use it how you see fit. I use mine for my purge.
