I called Paypal and the recording says to forward all suspect emails to  spoof@paypal.com so I did. This is the 2nd such email I got this week. anyone else getting these messages?
I checked my paypal without clicking on their link and the account is normal.

it reads:

Unauthorized access to your PayPal account!

We recently noticed more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address.

If you accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you. However, if you are the rightfull holder of the account, please visit Paypal as soon as possible to verify your identity:

Click here to verify your account

You can also verify your account by logging into your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/us/.
If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choise but to temporaly suspend your account.

We ask that you allow at least 72 hours for the case to be investigated and we strongly recommend to verify your account in that time.

Thank you for using PayPal!

Nope, Haven't gotten that one yet but I'm sure I will. When will it be common knowledge that NO BANK is going to send you a verification link within an e-mail? when that happens all this crap will come to an end ( Maybe)

Yeah I have gotten a bunch of those....I sent them to spoof @ paypal

Yes got a few reported to paypal. Paypal said that their e-mails to you always address you by your name.

Yes I've gotten those... watch out for the one that says your Email address has been update and to log on to the paypal web site to confirm with a Linky to paypal in th message. The website is a bogus site to capture your passward and Paypal is aware of it. Also I was told by paypal that any email to you receive from them will have you full name and not your email address... e.g., Dear Mr. Richard Headimus not Dear Cuninglingquest@aol.com any emails like this are bogus.

Any time you get these emails you should use a separate link to Paypal to report it. DON'T use the one in the email.

WE CAN STOP THE PHISHING, BUT WE MUST UNITE!
If everyone who recieved a phishing e-mail took the time to feel it out with bogus made up info we could make this practice not worth the effort! Imagine if the phishers had to weed through 5,000 bogus,Phishy accounts

, just to find 1 good one.... All you have to do is take the time to feel out the info with stuff that looks legit! Heck, make up a user ID/Password and let the fun begin....

yep, i feed them lotsa new accounts...
with several passwords each

it depends on my MOOD tho -- the more
irritated i am the more accounts they get.

Good Idea, Just like sending back Prepaid Mail to sender. I let them get rid of the junk mail. Plus it cost them money. Fellow Hayabusens Unite. Or would it be Hayabusen.Orgonians
