I'm gonna have mine tuned, but I asked the guys in Japan if they had a map they could send me. Here is part of their response:
And regarding power commander...
Our exhausts were developed on completely stock bikes at factory settings.
(ie, the standard carburetor jetting or electronic fuel injection mapping).
This means that nothing needs to be re-set in order to install our models.
However...... we are going to ship New Busa systems this week to Dynojet for making Power Commander.end They went on to say Dynojet will update the site have these maps.
According to their Website the 4-2-1-2 (380mm) made 189hp. Mine pulled 187 with a zero map (Pretty close).
So I am passing on this information for those who may buy the system but not be near a dyno tuner..Bike runs great without the PCIII. (Could be $600.00 or more savings between PCIII and tuning as well.)
It will be interesting to see what a good custom tune can do. Maybe more in the mids between 4000-7000..
