PC3R Question

Skak

I seem to be able to upload maps ok from my PC. The thing is when I close the DynoJet software and go back in later I don't see the values I supposedly uploaded earlier. Even if I select "get all" I don't get back any values.

Is this normal behaviour? I guess my question is, if I upload a map, should I be able to download it later (unmodified) from the Power Commander?

nice avatar...

make sure you save any changes you made.
if you upload a saved map to your pwrcmdr, exit the program, open the program, it wont open your last map... you need to reload it either from the map on your personal computer, or download it from the powercommander.... just make sure your ignition is on when you do the changes.

If your ignition is on, and then you ask the PC3 software to get the current map on the PC3... then it has to be the same as the map you previously loaded on to it!! If its not, then you have a problem!!

Note: If the ignition is not on, the PC3 software will not be able to fetch the current map from the PC3

oh... and welcome to the board

Since I got 2 contradictory replies I'm guessing my question wasn't very clear. Let me try again.

If I load a map from disk then ride around for a while, when I decide to reconnect the PC to the PC3R (with the bike running/turned on) should the map table I uploaded in the earlier show up or be downloadable from the PC3R?

When I star up my PC3R software, the tables seem to all show zero. To get them to change, I have to reload a map from disk again.

I seem to be able to upload maps but not download that same map back from the PC3R.

Is this normal behaviour? Should I be returning my PC3R or not?

Thanks everyone for your help. Looks like an RTFM issue.

You have to load a map from disk (a zero map preferrably), then you can "get" maps from the power-commander to your PC.
