I'm trying to find out by how many degrees the PCII can retard the ignition,my local Dyno jet supplier says that the numbers on the screen are not degrees just'ammounts of retard'Can anybody tell me the exact figures?
If it is upto 11 degrees then I'll have a neat fix for my NOS timing problems.Which will also help with Turbos.I would E-mail Dynojet direct but my question just gets fowarded to the supplier in the UK who comes back with the same answer.

dynojet said it will retard 11 degrees they used thepc2 ive been told on the mr turbo busa when testing on dyno picking up additional 20 hp

Thanks Motorhead. When the PCII arrives I'm going to try to stick a resistor in the TPS line with a switch so when the gas is enabled the ignition retards.I'll keep you posted. This could save me quite a few bucks.
thanks again

Motorhead have you ever tried Sunoco fuels. I can`t remember the # on the fuel but they have a special fuel that is for pro-mod cars to use especially with nitrous. It worked great on a turbo nitrous combo...no detonation. It was 9 bucks a gallon from a race fuel disributor. Only came in lined 55 gallon drims...no rust inhibitors...had to flush fuel system after every race.I want to say they claimed a octane of 129 but that may not be right. Either way it was by far the best fuel we ever tried...much better than VP...of course thats only my opinion. Have noticed that NHRA will distribute fuel at tracks now to racers...trying to keep level playing field.

im not sure un the resister deal because of the timing retardation base program maybe rpm based.unless you might be able to access the basic timing alterating functions in the pc2 and use a switch to activate that function i think the busa tps is a 0to5v. dont remember the true potentiometers values though.if your running the juice on street bike w/pump gas i suggest using secondary tank intail or wherever to supply fuel for the system and put c24 in this then you can get into using jets in high 30s range with the pc2s retarding capabilities.

This particular bike ran 7.30`s in quarter...1380cc 35-40 lbs of boost and nice charge of nitrous. Old GS engine. I`m putting a normally aspirated engine together now...nothing special just a good street motor.
