Performance Mod Suggestions?

I was wondering what else i can do to my bike before i finish dyno tuning the pc3 next week. I have dual slip-ons (i know i need a header), smart tre, k&n, pair block off (for weight savings), pc3.
Should i do a ign box for a few ponies?
What bout the air box mod, or sealers?
Is hotter spark plugs worth it?

Depends what you want out of your bike...and how much your willing to spend. Mods add up...even tho each one may not make a huge diff combining them will make a big diff. So if your looking for big power gains your gonna have to spend big bucks...smaller gains smaller bucks. your next step should be lower gearing. Thats by FAR the best bang you're ever gonna get mod wise. Nitrous is a cheap and effective way to get TONS more power, but it can be an engine killer, and I've heard bottles don't last long. If your really serious about more power you woulda got a full system instead of the slips...I don't think the igntion box is worth the money for the minimal gains. Airbox mod...you lose some low end but gain a little top. Most motorheads seem to only recommend the box mod for a modded motor...not stocker. Ram air seals won't do jack until your well into triple digits...then its debatable. Run the recommended heat range plug for the bike. Cams/headwork/big bore with what you already have will blow your socks off. My next mods gonna be a turbo...nothing else in between.

Thanks thats a big help. I might send my head to a friend for some porting and polishing. Maybe shaving for higher comp. I cant stand the flat spot i get when i pull the throttle back too hard in 4th. I need it to slam like a hammer in all gears.

+1 on gearing but dont go less than a 16 in front i would (if your gears are stock) go say 3 up in the back and you'll feel a huge torque dif. you will loose some top end speed. but imho i would rather get to 170 super fast than be able to do 200+

......I'm convinced that being able to hammer is great, but the "BUS" has that power already....Mike, should be time for a GPS mod allowing you to tune your bottom end, AND get top end mph......contact greg at boost by smith, he's a sponsor here....get that shift pattern to a 1N2345-5 sequencing for the restrictor bypass...and watch the mph rise !!!

mods need to reflect the planned usage of the bike. Daily rider, racer, showbike.
