Colby at D&S Unlimited is way cool guy. Hes done work on my kawi. Yes, I have a lawn mower kawi. Anyways, definitely a good guy to work with. Also, I have a guy who will do most of your accessories here in Phoenix. Let me know if you want his number.

Does anyone know of a good Suzuki shop or mechanic in the Phoenix, AZ, area? I'm fed up with the screw ups at Metro Motorsports on Bell Rd.- I planned with them for 3 months to make SURE they had all the recall parts and a scheduled appointment so I could trailer the bike in and get it done all at once. I came back yesterday evening and nobody had touched the bike for 7 hours, I had to leave town, so I left it there for the week and said DO IT RIGHT! But I'd really like to never go back there again! Thanks.....

In your owners manual there is a Phone# for US SUZUKI customer service, they can refer you to a better dealership.

Suzuki awards differant shops in regards to service.

Good point. When I worked in so.cal; Kawasaki and Suzuki would recommend our Dealership for problem solving. Now Suzuki has also done it here in Central Texas. If your not happy call Like I said before it is your money. Use its power.

John,

That whole "Powersports" chain stinks in my opinion. I have a '98 ZX11 and Kelly's Kaw is 5 miles from my house but I won't use them because their service is the pits. I take my sled to Dirt & Street Unlimited on 7th Street and Bethany. Colby Lingenfelter is the service mgr. (yes related to Lingenfelter family who build Chevy motors). He has always taken care of me, delivered when he said they would AND they are cheaper than everyone else???? They also have the Phx. PD MC ervice contract which says something. Not sure if they are Suzuki authorized, if not I'm sure Colby would recommend a shop. His number is (602)864-1437.

Good Luck!

I know what you are talking about John, I hate that franchise. Every single time
I have taken my bike in for service, there are problems with it when I get it back.
From missing fasteners and vacuum lines not reconnected, to tps miss
adjustments and greasy finger prints on the faring, they just suck. No offense
to you young guys out there but there is nothing but 12 year olds in the service
department and they all seem to be novices. I had the guy at the service desk
ask me "what kind of a bike do you have" and when I said "a Hayabusa" he said
"what kind of a bike is that", I will ever buy from them again. Get the tools and
do the important stuff yourself.

As far as Dirt and Street is concerned, I have had very good luck with them with
my R1100 gs but they don't handle Suzuki.

I've had good luck w/ Eastside Performance in Mesa. They've been in biz 20 years. They did my exhaust/jet kit on my ZX-11. I've heard they're a little expensive but I was pleased with the service. They're located in Mesa--Broadway/Alma School --across from **** Cepek. I forget the #. If you really want it call 411 or email me.

12/26 2pm is better for me. Is that ok? I'll confirm beforehand because it's my 4 yr. pain-iversary with my woman. The day should be free though, no prob.

I'll be at Chuy's 2:00 Sunday. I sent my home number to your e-mail, call me if you have to cancel.....

Squid - I used to have East Side do work on my '82 Gpz1100 in the '80s when they were on Southern west of Mill. I always felt like I was getting reemed by the owner (expensive, overselling me)?

BP - Colby is getting some good press here. Colby if you are reading this I want a free oil change! I will be buying a pipe/jet kit in the very near future. Would like your contact for the install. I haven't logged onto WHOA, I'll check it out after this post.

Are we riding this Sunday 12/26? (Chuy's 48th St./Elliot at 1:00 PM?)

WOW! Thanks for all the knowledgable feedback- I really appreciate it- I'll be checking out your suggestions. Hope to hook up with y'all in the early spring for some rips (a little too cold to run over the high flats between Cottonwood and the Valley right now, even with the Chili vest on broil. Rock 'n Roll........
