Phoenix Riders: Any good Roads near Phoenix?

Well my company is closing up our office sometime next year and I have the option of being relocated to Phoenix or stay in Denver and work from home as a virtual employee. I haven't decided yet on which way to go. I am not very excited about working from home, but all of my family lives in Denver or near Denver and I love living here. I am intrigued by living in a different city since I have lived here my whole life. It would also be a good career move since there are better opportunities in Phoenix. Also the option to ride year round does sound good to me and to have a warmer climate.

I guess my question is are there some good roads around Phoenix to ride on? Also what are the pros and cons about living in Phoenix?

lots of great roads but HOT during the summer some people dont ride during the summer because its like riding in a furnace other than that i love Phoenix

Thanks Rich, yeah I was there in August when it was 115, I figured the riding season is between September and May. I am actually going to be headed down there in a few weeks to check out the city for a few days and then make my decision. The crappy part is when I would move down it would be June or July, when it is too hot down there and it is really nice here. Oh well, I guess that is the breaks.
