Anyone knows of some good one? It happened that I've seen in Italy a bike that had some sort of paint (I guess) on the wheels, and the faster the bike was going, the more the wheels were lighting!. I would be happy to know anything about lighting paints/materials, if any of you knows/uses.

Dupont sells a paint called (chroma illusion?)I believe it changes 16 shades of color, American International sells a pinstripe kit called californeon that glows like a blacklight and changes color depending on what overlay tape you use.
Thats about all the info I can offer.
Peace,
Ranger

Watch for UV fading in the sunlight, we had two of our shops painted a flouro colour and the paint faded badly after a few months in the sun. Worse thing is it LOOKS faded, with the more exposed areas a very different colour, and the crevices are the original colour.

I think the paint that changes colour with viewing angle is ok, the colour comes from fibres (prisms) in the paint.

The worst fluorescent colours for UV fading are the pink, orange, yellow.

PS. We even tried a run with a UV protect clear coating over the top, just slowed it down a bit. Pink printed matter and business cards do the same in sunlight too.

Screw that glow in the dark pinstriping. I am trying to figure out where to mount my 5" plastic Jesus. He keeps un-assing the fairing whenever I go over a 130. Any ideas? Would it be considered sacreligious to bolt him to the kickstand?

californeon is pinstriping that glows from a power source, it is like a blacklight but it is as thin as pinstriping, I have some myself. It sticks onto the bike and you connect it under the body to the battery, uses hardly anypower at all, and creates a very eyecatching effect. This pinstriping was created by NASA for the space shuttle.

hmm, I'll need to figure a way to put in on my wheels, and also have the connection to the battery, but might be worth the effort.

thanx again Ranger.
