Pics of some of my other projects

I did my aquarium stand and canopy... working on a 2X4 wood chest to match the stuff now.. (well I have the wood)

Great hobby, took me a full day to figure out how to make "mitered" cabinet doors with inserted panels (and $125 router bits)

When I built the aquarium stand in my last house, I just did the doors using my table saw; just with a simple wood panel.

When I built these doors, I used my router bits, making the raised panel doors. To make setup of the bits easier, I made 'measurement' blocks a while back. Basically, once I had the bit height set, I made extra rails and stiles...and then saved them (just short cut-offs). Now, whenever I go back to using the bit set, I just pull out the cut-off pieces and adjust the router to fit the profile. Viola! Perfect cuts every time without all the trial-and-error to fit all the pieces!

now that you mention that part, I paid $5 for a piece of white plastic that has both router cuts on it.. insert bit and adjust to the plastic "gauge"

I gotta hand it to guys that do this all the time, lots of patience and accuracy.. I had a lot of fun doing this project but there is nothing cheap about doing woodwork by the time you buy tools (at least it is a one time thing) and material... Will not even say what this cost me

(cheaper to have it done than to DIY)
