Thats the way they are. Do a search on "mirror spacers", there is a member on the board who makes them I think. Sorry guys, not trying to hi-jack.

Pig spotters are worthless. I bought them for my 06 and removed within a couple of days. I could not see out of them due to the fixed position and size of mirror.

functional...absolutely not.  ugly...I don't think so.

These are a good option. I was going to sell them but i experimented and found i could turn the mirros upside down and they allow me to actually see whats behind me.

I dont know the name. Theyre on ebay. Search busa mirrors.

i used zx 1400 mirrors a fair bit longer and suit the busas lines only good mthing on the big kwak lol

The look fundamentally worthless as far as actual usability is concerned....

They look like they meet DOT requirements in my state.  Since I can't see anything but my elbows on the stockers, they couldn't be any worse... and at least they're small enough to streamline the bike's look a little more, and avoid me getting an equipment ticket.
