Any one run a 200 rear tire I would like to know if it helped or hurt handling

I run a 200 Michelin Hi-Sport. All I've run to date and is fine. I'm accountant so the last 1/4" to the sidewalls is still shiny, but the rest works fine. Haven't noticed anything adverse, the bike still drops into the turns nice and you can sit at a stop light without putting your feet down. Impresses the squids!

If you measure stock tire you'll find it is a 198 actual. Listed as 190. Should be no difference other than differences due to manufacture,compound,profile,etc..Or so I've read here on this board.

I been talking to a guy from michelin 2 wheel division named steven voorhies, he says 300 will arrive before august and the major online wharehouses already have exceeded that number on backorder.
Sept/oct is when the real boatloads will arrive. This tire is manufactured in france. The story is that they first made it in the same compound as the 190 but had to scrap that and add a steel belt just like dunlop did to the ZX12oe tire for the proper high speed stability.
The 200 dunlop rocks for now. They go into full distribution this week for about 135.00, cant beat it.

Installed the ZX12 oem tire yesterday, has a rounder profile than the 56J and width difference is barely perceivable.
The 207 has proven itself gripwise and this 200 size is exclusive in that it has a steel belt in addition to the nylon ones in the 190 for the purpose of high speed stability.
I went with these because the pilot 200 is still a couple of months away from mass distribution and I wont run anything but a 200.
These are a top notch alternative to the sports and superior to anything else out there. If you measure the clearance from the chain to the sidewall of the tire you'll find its identical to the measurement with the 56J.
So there you have it folks, the busa and 12 were designed around a 200 rear. Use'em you'll like'em.
