The high beam headlamp assy has half the light in it deflected by a piece of metal, it cuts the beam in half. Like a fog light's insides.
I took the one apart that I got from PacificBusa... I see you have the front lens off the assy and it makes it easy to remove the highbeam and "operate" on it. The lens comes off the concentrator and then you can pull the deflector out and re-assembe it with some high temp glue.
produces more than double the light with the same bulb, I tested it with the one I have.
If I get a chance I'll pull it apart again and take some pictures of it.[/QUOTE]
I am curious to know more about this. Is it a delicate task? Time-intensive? Would it be possible to put some pics up?
I'm all for more light...seeing and being seen are good things on a bike.
