Pink Wire Dyno Results

I took my bike up to Dynospeed Developments in Essex today. We tried runs with and without the pink wire connected.
The results revealed no apparent increase in full power. The CO gas levels were ok when the wire was disconnected. We checked the resistance in the pink wire in each gear, and it revealed that each gear has a different resistance which backs up what has been said about the ICU knowing what gear the machine is in.
Well, as I said there was NO gain in overall power by disconnecting it(UK model- see previous posting)
I am however, leaving mine disconnected as I am sure it runs smoother and pulls harder????(It does honest) This could be to a little more petrol being squirted which would make it 'feel' better.
A big thankyou to Brad for his time and to Dynospeed in Chigwell, Essex.

Did the motor run richer anywhere after the mod? or was it not detectable by the CO meter - if so I'd expect the diffenence may lie in the ignition timing, Also the FI may know about airbox pressure (is there a sensor?) in which case it may not richen the mixture until positive pressure is detected.

HI MONTIE, I RAN MY 2000 BUSA ON THE DYNO TODAY AND GOT 165 TO THE REAR WHEEL BUT I HAVE SLIP ON YOSH PIPES AND I DROPPED A TOOTH ON THE FRONT SPROCKETT. PROBALLY ABOUT THE SAME AS YOURS TO ALLOW FOR THE DIFFERENCES IN MACHINES AND ALTITUDES.

There was a minor increase in co giving the impression that it may be running slightly richer. Not sure if there is a sensor (re air pressure) good point though, cause that would explain the increase that I am feeling that the dyno isnt picking up on.
possibility, ill look into it.
Cheers montie
By the way it made about 157 on rear wheel. Thats standard, no cans or bits.
