Please help me out with exhausts?

Im looking for a full exhaust system for my 06 busa because i wanna get rid of the gigantic two cans.Problem is i dont know much about exhausts.From doing searches i have realized that i basically need a full system exhaust from akrapovic or yoshimura along with a pc3usb to make it run nicely after getting it dynod? How much am i looking at in terms of price for all this? Im assuming it would be around 2 grand with installation n all.Any advice would be appreciated?

hmf dual highmounts are nice !

they make a 4 to 1 also . but yeah a full system, installed with pcIII dyno tuned , is goin to run some $ s two grand i think would be the low end , and depending on which system you get it could get higher , you could save some big $ doin the install yourself?

Full System -- $1000 to $1500 (shop around for best price)
PCiii usb -- $300 to $400 (ping johnnycheese, he can help)
Dyno time and tune -- $250 to $300 (average I've seen)

Okay.So i guess it is a considerably expensive project.What kind of performance increases am i looking at after spending 2k? More top end? faster accerleration in all the gears?

when all said and done...could be mid 160's to 170's for hp with a good tune

like nitrousjunky said...get a garret exhaust...4500 but you can be 230 + hp

Hmmm? I thought stock busas were around 165 hp or so? 2 grand for a 10 hp increase seems a bit expensive? Of course im sure the weight loss by the heavy stock cans helps too
