Polishing Hayabusa Frame

Hi All

I am in the process of turning my 2000 Haybusa into a show bike. Being new to the sport, I would like some opinions. I would like to polished the frame. Can this be done safely? I have seen other bikes with this done, just not to sure about the busa frame.
