Pondering a B-King

Ok as you all know I have a 2009 Hayabusa but I found out that a local dealer has a left-over never titled 2008 B-King with 150 miles on it. They want $8995.95 plus tax/title/license. Should I add this to my collection?

from what i read its a bit of a diffrent ride but way fun too!!

Theres a subforum if you didn't see it that you can do a lot of reading on them, I personally like it. You may be able to talk him down on the price since they're discontinued. Of course if you do Pics :rulez:

Let us know what you decide

Never titled with 150mi? Was it a demo? Well all know how demos get treated(lets see what this got)... I'd work on the price and see if they throw in an extended warranty policy(free). If they want to sell, then they'll work on price. Price some used ones and compare and let them know you compared. Bike looks fantastic from the side, but sitting on it,I don't care for the gas tank view.

PM Owen123 and ask him how he's liking his.

Owens123 owens owens - where's my owens!!!

I love my B-king - Had a gen 1 and can't see any reason to go back to a Busa Gen 1 or Gen 2. That said, I just about pulled the trigger on a new '08 blue w/gold wheels busa a few weeks ago for $10400 OTD. But, decided that a sport touring ('10 concours maybe) is more in line with where I'm going with my riding lately.

I'd love to get a B-King as well! I'd say go for it and try to talk him down in price! :beerchug:

As you can see my B-King is turning into a "super" kick ass sport tourer! Bag, GPS, cruise... What can I say?

Update: I went to the dealer who has this bike and when it was all done and overwith they wanted $12,300.00 out the door. Way too much for a 2008. He said that he's charging that price because of the Two Brothers exhaust installed on it. Way over blue book not to mention extras don't count on your bike when trading it in. I considered trading in my 2008 Kawasaki with custom cobra exhaust however the dealer said he couldn't give me extra $$$ for my exhaust. I told him to keep his bike for some other fool. For what it's worth that B-King is located at Joe Harrison Suzuki Powersports in San Antonio Texas. Maybe someone else will have better luck than I did. :moon:

That is goofed up...I paid 11 otd for my '06 busa....in '06.

I like the king, looks awesome from the side...little to wide in the tank area
for my taste but a great bike..BUT...it is discontinued and a 2008 (2 years old
anyway you slice it). $8900 and change seems about right...the exhaust is a wash.

To bad it didn't work out, I woulda walked to...the dealer is on crack.
