Pondering Busa Power

I have had a handful of bikes that were capable of powering the front wheel off the ground in first gear without clutch play or rolling off and back on the throttle. No doubt the Busa will do the same but I was wondering if the Busa is capable of doing this in second gear. I'm anxiously (slight understatement) awaiting the arrival of my 2000 Busa at my dealership and was just pondering the thought. I'm only indirectly interested in the wheelie capabilites of the Busa. If the Busa will power wheelie in second gear it gives me more of an idea how the HP of the Busa relates to other bikes I've owned.

Hope you don't mind me askin..just been daydreamin about all that horse power.

Hang on for the ride of your life it will do it,it depends if you want 45 degree or straight up.Your seating postion on the bike will give you the angle you want, why waste the front forks over wheelie show off,I'd rather have the front forks used for bumpy roads and handling in the turns. My 1cent.

i've had mine in second gear at a steady 80 mph on the highway, cracked the throttle and stood it up. rode through 4th before putting it down. do it all the time. this bike WILL do that.

A later post will probably read 'How do I keep the front wheel down when getting on the power ?' :)
