Hello all,

Apparently, I don’t have a Hayabusa yet and plus I am not a bike rider either at this moment.
However, since my best friend got one last year, I am also so much into it.
I really like this bike but problem is that I think I am little too short for this bike.
I barely touch the ground with my both feet. (I am 5ft 6 inch by the way)
My friend told me that the height could be adjusted in many ways.
Can I lower the bike and what’s the best way to do it?
If I can lower the height to my comfortable level, I really want to buy this bike.

Thanx in advance.

Im 5'7"... on 00 stock busa.. My feet aint flat on the ground at a stop light but I keep pretty good balance so my tippy toes work.. But lowering it does sound like a good idea..

Is this going to be your first motorcyle? If so, even if you can get your feet on the ground, the Hayabusa may not be the best bike to learn on.

I agree with Sherm. I've had four bikes in the past. And the Hayabusa isn't the bike to start with. If you feel it's a must have machine, I can only say take your time, take a course and ride around parking lots as often as you can until you really feel you know this machine.

2nd's a doozy..so is 3rd and 4th for that matter. Stay chill!

I'am 5.6 also.
Up until 3 days ago I have been locked to low riding crusers because of my height. I finally couldn't hold back from the ultimate in motorcycles..problem being all sport bikes are about 30.5 to 33 inches tall..that is tippy toe for me. On the Busa I keep one foot on the pavement and the other on the rear brake..no problem.....You will do fine.

One word of advice though...The Busa is unbelivable..if you do not respect its power it will KILL you!!! Buy it if you want the best but be carefull if you are new at bikes..please learn the basics before you lay into it hard...Good luck, you will love it!!
