With any luck it will come out. Once again someone trying to play the race card in this election.
I watched the video and tried to view it with an open mind.
No way to tell. I do agree it will be interesting on how it plays out.
However I dont agree with one thing Marcus and that is I wouldnt find it hilarous I would find it sad in the way if the guy really is the father and the Palin's either knew this or knew it was a possability that they would be keeping him out of the picture.
However if the kid is the father his self rightous attitude of wanting to do what is morally right doesnt hold much wait with me because if he really felt that way he wouldnt have had pre-marital sex with her and he was all up and up he wouldnt have been messing around with a girl who had a BF (just my opinion).
I will be watching the news for this. I am sure if there is any validity to it, and since the news media is geared toward the democratic side, it wont take much for the news to dig out the truth.
I am really getting tired of all the slandering. And to be honest it seems to be coming more from the supporters of each side than the candidates themselves.

I guess I will add that if I try to analyze this from a realistic approach I would "think" that if the Palin's knew this was a possability they would have to be pretty stupid to try and cover it up.
I mean if the kid is the father, when the baby is born I am sure there will be democrats that will provide the legal reasources to the kid that would allow him to pursue a DNA test. And if the DNA test came out proving this kid is the father, and if they could prove it was covered up, especialy for racial issues that would be a huge blow to the Palins.
But I guess none of that will happen until after the election and if all that did play it out would be too late then anyway. They wont impeach someone because of what their kids did.
However if this is not true and this kid is lying that is pretty low. to say the things he said, drop the race card and everything else.
So I think no matter how it plays out, just sad.

compare that to the teen pregnancy rate.. you tell me what is going on here, I had no idea the numbers...

What's hilarious is a candidate not recalling how many homes he owns. Wish I had that problem...and if I did I'd respond accordingly to the question instead of rehashing his 5 and 1/2 years in the Hilton where he "had no kitchen table, etc etc...sad, sad, sad. The only humor to the ptotential truth in the story, is that "if" this kid is indeed the father and the other guy is only a pawn for presentation, then it it humorous how far the Palins hve gone to cover this up in comaprison to how "strong" of a candidate that most Republicans hail her to be.

I think it is a racial issue myself...
While 75% of the nation is "White" they only account for 6% of the "teenage pregnancy" issue..
Where the "Black" population is 12% they make up almost 33% of the problem.. I have to question that statistic and figure out why?
The other minorities seem to be having the same issue and that is even more troubling.. we have 25% of the population here with 94% of the teen pregnancy problem... THAT is an issue that should be addressed..
Another REAL issue is the prison population..
1/3 white
1/3 black
1/3 everyone else... again this does not follow the demographic of the population at all... 25% of the masses appear to be 66% of the burden on society..
I have other numbers for welfare and other programs and they are equally lopsided..
SO while you are howling about "whos yer daddy" there are real issues you should be attacking..

Seriously, I doubt its true. I would need to see more proof than this clip. People, don't believe everything you see, read or hear, positive or negative about either side. ie Obama is muslim, Palins last child was really her daughters, Palin never wanted that bridge to nowhere, McCain was always in favor of the Bush Tax Cuts...
Someone however asked what this has to do with the election. Well if it were true, 10 -20 % of the "conservative base" would likely stay home.

Seriously it is no mystery in almost every society the poorest segment has a higher birthrate. There are lots of theories about why this occurs. Some have to do with the poor needing the feeling of ownership over something. Some believe the issue is education. It is probably a combination of a lot of factors. At the end of the day a healthy society can be measured by the amount of disparity between the very rich and very poor. The greater the gap the more unhealthy the society, the greater income equity the healther the society. Don't believe me? Compare the same statistics to Europe.
European countries see less that 15 teenage births per 1000 while the US sees 50.
So what are the other differences?
European countries, in general have, better health care, better support for the poor through social programs and less disparity between the rich and poor. All the things conservatives hate, yet all the welfare rhetoric we hear from conservatives doesn't play out. See more social programs seems to lead to less teenage pregnancy not more, I'll bet you find the same is true for crime as well.. Gee who'd a thunk it?
But wait, that is SOCIALIST, oh no...Gee and the US Government buying AIG, what do you call that? That along with all the regulation in the economy is ENTIRELY socialist.
Now before some of you scholars say: "If ya like is so much there, why don't you move there" Well that is because I think this is the best country in the world...but we can do better.

cruise the poor areas.. single moms with as many kids as they can get welfare payments for and kids running without one hint of supervision or parental interaction (wonder why they end up in trouble or worse, dead)..
Maybe the "Dads" ought to put it back in their pants and assume responsibility for their actions? heard of bump and run? how bout "hump and run" seems the laziest in society create the biggest issues.. (prison, welfare, foodstamps etc)
Do you think if the dads stayed involved in the kids lives, that all the issues would still be there?

, that is uncalled for. My wife and I make a nice living. WE WORK for it. My wife has a BS, me, well I payed attention in school, and I guess some of it stuck with me. 2 years of upper education (no degree). But I did not give up. I took what job paid the best tha came along, AND was always looking for a better paying job. The Guv`mt(
) has more money than it knows what to do with it. And what does it do, SPEND it all, and the ntell me I need to do more, give up more of my unfair share. I work for my money. I am the one that gets up at 0400 and work 12hrs a day. I miss holidays, work weekends, miss birthdays, miss the kids school activities, and I don`t pay enough. I do, I apy too much. We have too many people in this country that think the government is a security blanket. Remember, the Government does not work to earn money, the money that the government has is taken from the people BEFORE the people are paid.
