ok... so I'm adjusting on my power commander usb the other day on the low rpm range. because I think I have a lean spot some where around 2,000rpm's...
my question is what is the rpm ranges for the buttons...
just who I was hoping would answer...
I'm fooling with buttons because it took me a year to even do that... I really want to come see you and let you take a look at the bike,
(so... If I just change a cell at the rpm I think I'm having the trouble in that would be doing better? )
the bike would spit and spud-er around 2000 rpms like it was running out of gas for the past 3 summers I took it to the shop but they said since it had no codes showing they didn't know what to do?
well I thought it must have had some gas go bad and build up varnish so I did a couple of sea foam treatments to it over a couple of weeks... well as long as the sea foam was in the tank the bike ran normal... but when the tank only had gas (NO TREATMENT) it would start acting up again... this is when i decided to play with the low rpm buttons and try make it a little richer ( thinking that when the sea foam was in the tank that it must have had a richer burn?) well since I moved the low rpm button up higher it has seemed to fix the problem but boy do I smell gas bad now!
please help me Johnny
the current map I'm running is the the yoshi slip on with stock air filter from their web site.
my mods are a 16 tooth front sprocket. BMC air filter and duel yoshi carbon race slip ons.
ok... I have noticed when you push a button the rpm range color changes when hooked up to a lap top.
low = up to 3000.... mid = 3500-7000... high = 7500-13000 rpm ranges.
and the fuel change is at 2% per led bar. I have the low button set to 6% and the bike is running much better than when it was in the 0% (dead middle) no more spiting and sputtering for now?
is this ok Johnny? if I do go in to the individual cells what cells would you recommend changing to get rid of the lean spot's... and at what throttle % ?
