So my 07 Busa came with a Power Commader III in it and I have no clue what to do with it. I know that it is set up on a stock map and thats all I know!!! I need help. Do I unplug it from my bike and plug it into a computer? How do I use it? I looked into it yesterday and it is mounted in the rear and the power cord runs under my tank to ??? but has a ground wire attached to negative battery terminal. I know the Power Commander III is out of date but I am just trying to get the most out of what my bike came with to see what this power commander does for the bike. I need general knowledge and help. Thanks. :banghead:

Is your bike stock? What mods? What is your goal with the PC3? Need more info....

BTW,PC3 works fine,PCV is the latest and greatest and is much smaller w more features. I have a PC3 in my modded Gen2;it works just fine and I cant justify replacing it with a PCV. My ECU has been flashed however.

The only performance mod it has is a Voodoo dual exhaust system. That is all he had done to the bike performance wise and then had this PCIII also so I was confused in what to do with it. Other than the Voodoo exhaust she gets 93 octane gas haha. I just want her to ride nice thats all like she currently does but since the PCIII is in there I would like to mess around with it and see what I can do with it. Give me some ideas cause I have no clue. Eventually I would like to do some more engine performance and dont know where I should start with that either ... any help and advice will be much obliged.

If it's working good..."don't mess with it" is my advise. Nothing YOURE going to do is going to make it better! Leave that to a qualified shop/tuner! Just my 2cents

Best advice for you,do not touch it. Leave it alone. You can toast your engine messing with the fueling, even more so if you have never tuned a bike with a PowerCommander and have zero experience with doing so.
There is no need to touch the fueling if you still have the cat on the bike.

Sounds good then. When I start upgrading more performance wise I will take it to a shop/tuner to do what they must with it! Thank you guys.
