Power commander or no????

I just bought an 04 ltd edition Busa. It came with a power commander on it. The weather sucks here right now so I can't ride it yet but 8 out of 10 people I've talked to say not to use the power comander on it. They claim it will run better without it. WHAT'S YOUR OPINION?????

In California I need the PC to control the A/F ratio - the CA bikes run very lean to adhere to CA emissions - I can't imagine having the PV is hurting you - there are other options besides the PC but since it is already installed I'd just leave it be - just my 2 cents -

As far as I know the only other mod is it has the 4 into 1 Yosh with the RS3 Carbon

Thanks I was thinking of replacing just the muffler with a Voo Doo or Lord Humungous. Has anyone heard either of these? do they sound pretty good?

What you have is 1000 times better than a voodo or heaven forbid crap from Humongous. Either of those would be a SERIOUS downgrade from a quality Yosh pipe.

Lord Humongous gets NO respect at the .Org. Do a search.

I put an aftermarket can set on that is new and received all good reviews called Top Speed off Ebay and you can have em specially made to order.. shipped to me was $255 for set of 2.. the only drawback I had was the idle was weirding out on me..little sputter or backfire they say is normal...I am opting to flash my ECU to enable to use these cans.. half the price of pc3's and you dont need to mess with adjusting them.. still reading on it as no funds avaialable to do either right now..

I am thinking of having my ecu remapped.I read its far better than a power commander and cheaper as well.They can change settings in the ecu instead of masking them with a PC.Not sure but what do you guys think.I have a yoshi 4 into 1 pipe and want to take advantage of it.

You had to do something once the pipe was added. The PC will work great
