just got this bike and dont know too much about it. the original owner had it modded at the dealer before he picked it up and the guy I got it from put very little miles on it and didnt really know much.is there an easy way to tell if this thing has a power commander or has been modded in this manner.it has a yoshi full trs system and seems to kinda run rich to me, and my experience with bikes when you open them up they usually go lean.didn't even get a manual with it so dont know much about where to look or anything. did download the service manual on here but havent had time look at it much.. thanks for any help guys.

look in teh hump area ..usually they are stored there.

If you lift the tank, just behind the black air box and on top of the engine and find the harness plug (bigger white pug) if it has a PC it would be plugged in there.

...sorry I have no pics.

HEY THANKS GUYS. Have looked in the trunk, and didn't see anything in there. so I'll look under the tank. Also whats a TRE. Its nice to know they run on the rich side, so if they didn't put something on here or remap or whatever at least its still gettin plenty of fuel....thanks..

anything else I need to look for?

Time Retard Eliminator. You find it under the tank on the clutch side, if it's there.

The PC could be under the front seat. If it has a full system and has not been remapped, you wi have problems with the air fuel mix. I had to reduce the amount of fuel being sent from the ECU when I added my full HMF system. The factory EMU can be remapped without a PCIII, but one or the other realy needs to be done when the exhaust ios swapped out.

thanks guys I'll check it out. does kinda run rich and seems to be a little ruff on real slow 1st or 2nd gear stuff, but the dang thing runs like scalded ape when ya twist the wick....JEEZ this thing is a blast. I appreciate all the info guys. this site is really helpin me learn. I've been tryin to read alot of the sticky threads and such so as not be TOO stupid.
