Power Commander?

Hey Johnnycheese,

From what I've read on this board, you seem to be the man insofar as maps and such for the PC3...I'm looking to get one. Could use a little assistance. My Suzy is stock motor (for now), just wanna get rid of low end timing retard and get full potential out of her...then see if I can handle more

. Any info you can give (including what you have for sale), would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

JC. I talked to some schmo at dynojet about the difference between the 111r and the 111usb. He told me that the 111r was discontinued for my 02 and the 111usb is the better buy. He explained that the 111usb is not only faster to download maps to, it also has more options. Also, it has a plug in ignition adjuster coming soon. Whats your take on this information?

the downloading of a map via serial only takes a couple seconds versus maybe 1 second via usb... whats the big freakin deal

Well, Bell's Suzuki does sell the 111r for $279, like discussed on that other thread, so I guess that answers that.

Alright, I'm sure "someone" will get ticked off at this question but I used the search and couldn't find what I was lookin' for so hopefully this hasn't been asked a thousand times before...Do you need to utilize a PC if you only change the mufflers or is it only for full exhaust system mods. And as far as bolt-ons, I'm lookin' at Yoshimura RS-3's and Hindle...which do you think is a better option for just a muffler switch until I get the money for all this other stuff?

I just picked up a Hindle full race system, stainless/Polished aluminum round can at Starcycle.com for 499.99 and the PC111r at Bell's Suzuki for 269.99. 279.99 to the door.
