Hello all!! New to this, have owned my busa for 3 months and loved it since!! Has anyone besides me switched the exhaust cam for the intake one?? I did the result = 175.6 rwh and 105.8 torque!! The question at hand is anyone had probs with this this way?? There at 105 center like Lee Shierts told me to and runs great but really loud valve train noise due to the "ramp" of the cam. Any coments will be helpfull. I also ran a zx-12 last night and blew his doors off his was pipped also!! Busa rules!

Mike P, is there anyway you can e-mail Me a copy of your Dyno results?

I would like to study the power curve and see what the cam's are doing at each rpm with this setup?

And, what do you mean "ramp off the cam"?

Just how loud is this motor now?

Frank, The engine valvetrain is louder do to the ramp on the intake cam is backwards campared to the exhaust one. Its not really that bad but about 6 and below you can really hear it. I am working on getting that scanned to you, do you have a fax I can send it to?? Let me Know.
Mike

loud is never good when engines are the ones making the noise.why not get a cam ground to the same specs but with the propper approach and drop?sounds like they slam the valve closed too hard to me.
