Guys, I'm sure this topic has come up before, but for the benefit of new members ( which includes me
) I'd like to find out :
1. What bikes did you own before getting Busa?
2. What did make you go the Busa way?
For me:
1. -Aprillia 125RS ( my first sportbike, had it for 1year)
-Honda CBR 400RR ( the one they have in Europe and Asia, also 1year)
- Honda CBR 929RR ( 3years)
- Suzuki Hayabusa ( present....)
2. I was looking for something with more juice, but at the same time comfortable.... I do pillion from time to time, so that was a factor too. Nowadays, sportbikes are not really meant to pillion, and I myself did not like to do that, although occasionaly would have to .....) Also, I would go for a longer trip from time to time ( Singapore to Thailand- about once a year or so.... which would mean 10 hrs plus minus depending on riding speed.....)
I have it for about 2months now ( put 2.500km) and 'm really loving it....
It is very different from pure bred sportbike but you got to love it...power, tourque, comfort...
The great thing about this bike, I feel, is that you can ride it in a very relaxed maner as well as howling a** if need be...
Looking forward to your replies ....thanx
