Anyone like Predator movies? I went to see the new one.. It suckz! Totally, So dont waste you green.... Stay home and watch Oprah or something.

Damb.Thats sad news,I love that kind of movie. What was wrong with it?I wasn't expecting an Oscar winning plot or dialog.

The whole movie was LOW BUDGET!! Boring!! I think they tried to see just how cheap they could make it and how much profit it could generate.. Kinda like the industry making everthing in China and bringing the junk over here to resale. Man put a couple gallons of fuel in the Busa , you'll have a better time. Later ME

Hopefully, they will make the 3rd better, and incorporate the "Rogue" storyline and explain the entire story by Predators hunt Aliens. Maybe in the next Batman movie, like in the short vid "Dead End". Either way, I'll get it on DVD.

ya know.... don't get me started. I'm sick to FREEEKIN DEATH of movies that lack decent enough writing to carry a picture though the onslaught of typical overproduced CGI Cartoon parts.
Dear Hollywood Money, DON'T FORGET THE PLOT!
The first Predator AND Alien movies had decent effects. But for the most part, the BEST parts were while the special effects were not even happening! The people developement, the quiet intensity, where the story is going and how it gets there. Seems like these new movies are: 8th grade plot, the cast of Dawson's Creek [or similar too young and pretty], add 100 million dollars in post processing effects [um... computers SAVING money? ? ?] and call it done.
nnnnnnnnno. I'd rather pop in an old DVD of ALIEN anticipating the 9 minute buildup of the guy sneaking around the dark air ducts, just waiting for the second he shines his light to his left and the Alien is sitting right there. BAM! No CGI Cartoon monster, no blood, I KNOW what happens and it always makes me jump.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE sci-fi, and the Predator movies, but seems like the new crop is more "Wannabe" than "Is"

Movies are becoming like video games ... they sure "look" good, but for the most part they SUCK!
All of the PS3 and XBox 360 games look good, but how many of them are an actual better game than Super Mario Bros.?
Back then, a game had to be good in order to get people to play it. Now they are mostly eye-candy. Movies are now feeding into that philosophy. Anyone seen "300" yet? Or what about the 5 biggest trilogies of recent times. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (well not really a trilogy), The Matrix, Spider-Man, and Pirates of the Carribean. Imagine any of those movies without the special effects. Of those, LOTR has the best story IMO but the special effects is what made the movie SOOO much better.
PS ... I'm still gonna go see AVPR, but I'm doing so knowing good and well that the movie sucks. I'm not looking for a plot in those types of movies. Normally before I see a sequel I rent the original as sort of a refeshners course. I remember doing that with "SAW". Anyways, I'm not going to bother renting AVP because I'm not interested in the story. I just want to see the 2 creatures go at it and mame humans in the process.

you know, in the first alien movie, the alien was only on screen for less than 15 min. The movie its self was over an hour and half long. THats an hour and 15 min of "other" stuff goin on in the movie. That was a classic if you ask me. And like it was said before. I watch that movie at leat once a year and it stll makes me jump with that little bastard jumps out of thats guys chest.

There was a parody made on that part but I can't remember the name of the movie. Well, in it, when the alien pops out he grabs a cane and a tophat and begins singing "Hello my baby, hello my darling, hello my long time gal".
Well, I saw the parody before I saw the movie. So when I did get to see it (and ever since then) whenever that part comes up I think about the parody and bust out laughing.

+1 on that though jester....the first Alien movie was just creepy. the 2nd one was good as well, I thought. Used a little more in the F/X dept, but still had a well-developed storyline (even moreso if you get the uncut version that shows the little girl with her family) and good character development. By the 3rd and 4th, it was, in my opinion, relying too much on the success of the other movies. Sounds like that's what happened here.

I agree the first one was good, the second was better, the third I found the development of the soldier alien to be awesome. Got to see what the thing can do... four... well four was four and its part of the collection, but its still in the plastic wrapper.
Michael Jackson VS. Predator. For Predator movie #5.. Michael can keep getting killed and come back out the grave.. Finally Predator gets tired and goes home.. Jackson saves the world and beats Hillary for President!!! Run L'il Forrest Run
