Preload Adjustment

Someone at Suzuki must have been smokin' something special when they designed the 3-clamp & this rubber mounted clip-on thing.

To adjust my preload, I had to get out a flashlight and mag. glass just to see (or attempt to see) how many lines were showing.

I would love to drop this thing, if I could find an aftermarket replacement.

Call Andrew at Superbikeracing.com for an Ohlins shock. Rad Greaves F Xtreme bike is running an Ohlins with remote hydraulic preload adjuster

Do you have a clue what thses things cost? Try $5k..... I don't neet it that bad. (now if I had $5k just collecting dust.......I would sure do it).

I did get to speak with Rad at Mid-Ohio, nice guy. Boy does he have a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to take a win on the Busa.

Hayden on the 900RR (around 180 hp and real light) can just fly. On short tracks like Ohio Rad was at a big disadvantage.

Now Brainerd with that almost 1 mile straight might be another story.

I was told by the DEGA team that the rear Ohlins was around $1000.

Did you actually call Andrew at Superbikeracing.com? Or were you just guessing at the $5000 price?

Call him I bet its less

Don
