I've been looking for a new bike for a few months now and found one that has me interested but don't know about the price. How much return should a person exspect to get back on aftermarket parts?

The bike is a 08 with 8600 miles full r77 exhaust,power commander,chrome brake and clutch lever,cruise control,windscreen, lowered 1 inch

He wants 8300......what do you experts think its worth

Dealer or private party? Are the tires (front & back), brakes and chain still good? Service/maintenance records available?

With the MODs, $8300 is not bad. But it is a BUYERS market so i say hit him back with $8K

Seems like a good dealer price, though something to consider is are those mods that you want? If so then great, also ask about them giving an extended warranty on it since it looks like a dealership.

Good price! I paid $8250 for a black/orange 2008 with 7100 miles and just a few cosmetic mods to it. I knew the history of the bike and it was super clean though so I had no concerns about the previous owner. Also, it was a private party, so no sales tax was included in the price.

If ya buy a bike brand new, I think ya mostly lose money in selling it.

I never could understand why someone buys a new bike and only has it a couple years then sells it.
I have the exact same 08 black/blue and bought it brand new,I love it.
I think you should buy it, it sounds like a very good price.

thanks guyz i'm barely containing myself but i dont have a day off tell next week. It is a private seller and he has had 2 other busas, which leads me to believe he knew what he was doing when lowering it...heli bars on the front and links in the back i believe.

I hope it doesn't get sold cause its exactly what ive been looking for.
