I want to buy this for all the winter projects I have planned for my busa... and I don't feel like wearing knee pads

I have not used any of these type of lifts before, but see all the cycle shop mechanics use them... Please give me your thoughts on this lift and others in general... Thanks!

You will not like the wheel clamp and most likley spend more money to upgrade it. buy a handy lift, it is the lift used on 99% of motorcycle shops. It is one of the best.

Get a lift from Harbor Freight (no shipping if you go to store and have them get it) and get a Handy front wheels chock assy and save moeny...

My dad just bought that lift, it sucks. I use it for my daughters PW 80 or my other daughters CRF50 but not anything else larger. The way the ramp slopes down does not really give you much room for the big ol busa. All that holds that ramp on is two little pieces of pipe about 1" and seems like way too little to hold up so much. That wheel clamp REALLY sucks.

Save your money and get a real lift.

You spend $10,000+ on a busa and going to buy a cheap lift?? You can find the handy lifts less than $800 the manufacture price is always a lot higher. the $299 my be fine, But if it something you plan on using alot get a better lift. I do not think the one on ebay is worth the money. I would say stay away..

HF had problems with very low grade bolts being used.

My friend bought one of those and really regrets his purchase! I think JC did the same thing..... Spend the extra on a Handy Stand and you won't have any regrets.
Hey even if you only use if for a couple of years and decide to part with it you should be able to get half or better back out of it... This makes it only a few dollars more than the one you would have to modify just to get it to work!

Ok, you guys definetly moved me away from the ebay lift. One more lift to compare...

Now some of you mentioned Harbour Freight... I found a lift on their site...

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=91764

This lift is less than half price of the handy... I'm not trying to be cheap here i just want to make an educated purchase and if it turns out everything out there but handy is junk, than so be it, I'll shell out the $800.

Just using you guys (the experts) as a sounding board for the purchase...
