problem with Scorpio SR-i500se

hi everyone this is my first post and to all that have already helped me out, thanks.
i have 2002 le and i just install this new alarm. well if it sits for a day it won't active or deactivate. then if a try it again an hour or so later it starts to work again. called the company they made me reset everything. and that worked for a day. and it is doing it again. what should i look for or do you think it is defective i should send it back

Check all your connections and the strength of the battery.

it sounds like a connection problem . did you use the optional bike specific wireing harness or the universal wiring harness?
if you used the universal check the connections again. you might not have punched down the quick connects well.

if you bought the battery back up system it could cause a problem if you have a week moto battery.
if batt is week it will disable the alarm to help save the battery you will get an indication on the remote
