This woman is a TRUE leader in the black community and tells it like it is vs. turning every young black man killed into a race issue. She points out the obvious that the crime rate among young black men in America wearing Hoodies causes people to find young black men who are wearing hoodies to be suspicious and potentially criminal.

is calling for an economical boycott of the city of Sanford. what a complete idiot! and these are the kinda of so-called black leaders black people are looking up to. wow! Professor Swain says a boycott would only hurt black people, hispanic people, white people, business, etc... she is 100% right.
she says look at the black on black crime rate and that we know we have a problem in the black community and goes on to say when the black leaders wear hoodies all it does is to boost the sales of Hoodies and skittles.... and how people like Al Sharpton are racializing every issue and using it in an opportunistic fashion and boosting black turn out for the next election vs. going around the country to address the crime issues in the black community which are the real issues that feed into the negative stereo types.
and this moron Professor Watkins is making ASSumptions that there is corruption in the Sanford Police Department which is why Zimmerman has not been arrested. its racist so-called leaders like this that sensationalize every black man killed in America EXCEPT when a black man is killed by another black man. 90% of black men killed in America are killed by other black men NOT by white men.
I dont see any marches or protests taking place as a result of that yet black community leaders feel the need to protest every time a possible crime against someone in the black community takes place. nationally nearly half of all murder victims are black and the overwhelming majority of those black people killed are killed by other black people. Where is the march for them?
