I hate them. Find them frustrating. Maybe its me...maybe the Shoei I always sport has a shorter chin strap.
I can do just about anything Busa wise...repair,maintain..mod,etc. But have a tuff time getting that helmet loop on/off that krappy little hook. Hook mine, one for a lady, twice the frustration.
Anyway,if you find this too...hit yer local bicycle shop or equivalent and pick up a short cable. Not too thick so it goes on the hook easy. Some riders have reported their lids being stolen by scumbags cutting the chin strap and walking of with yer 1200 dollar lid.Guess they sew on a new strap,or run without it...or maybe just put it on the shelf next to the VW and Mercedes car badges. Anyway, lock 'em thru the chin bar...way better. Stow the little cable under the hump/seat.
Frustration...
happiness....
piece of mind..........
Ride safe my unruly brethren....
Rubb.
